How SM600L Works
SM600L is a non-woven acoustic absorber made from a blend of fine polypropylene microfibers and polyester staple fibers. The polypropylene microfibers are extremely fine, creating high friction against sound waves and converting acoustic energy into negligible heat. The result is a significant reduction in airborne noise — road noise, wind noise, and mechanical noise — inside the vehicle cabin.
It is lightweight, compressible, moisture-resistant, and easy to handle. It can be trimmed with scissors or a utility knife to fit around obstacles and irregular surfaces.
